Hello, I'm Metta
Hey, I'm Metta! Your dog obsessed, karaoke crazed,Red Bull fueled, ultimate hype girl of a photographer. When I'm not taking pictures, I enjoy spending my time outdoors (skiing, hiking, camping, running... literally anything outdoors you name it). I have 4,897 pictures of my dog Bruce in my camera roll and am still adding to that collection.
In 2018 I bought my first ever "nice" camera. I loved traveling and wanted a way to capture pictures and videos from my adventures that was a little nicer and more thoughtful than an iPhone camera. I became the official "Instagram photographer" of my friend group during my study abroad trip in 2020. I had always had a bit of an artistic flair (check out my mid 2010's instagram photos for that lol) but I realized on this trip how much I loved taking portraits. So I practiced a lot on my friends and then began offering senior portrait sessions in 2022. I soon branched out to couples, and have done weddings as well since then!
My favorite part of photography is the story that is told through pictures. Whether that is finding a way to convey who you have grown up to be through your senior pictures, or telling your love story through a wedding or engagement, I love the whole process from start to finish. My goal is to create art that somehow makes you feel nostalgic for the part of your life you are currently living.
